How I Plan to Show Up, Pay Attention & Fight for Students!

What I'll fight for as your trustee…

KPR manages $552 million of public money on behalf of Peterborough families. Arts education has no distinct line in that budget. Special education funding isn't keeping pace with the growing number of students who need it. Operational inefficiencies quietly cost the board money that could be going to classrooms. And hard trade-offs are coming as enrolment continues to decline.

Peterborough's students deserve a trustee who reads the budget carefully, asks hard questions in public, protects what's working, and fights for what's missing. Not someone who nods along. Someone who shows up prepared and stays accountable.

These are my specific commitments. They are grounded in KPR's own data, the Ontario Auditor General's 2026 special education findings, and what I've heard from parents, teachers, and community members at hundreds of doors across every ward in this city.
