KPR manages $552 million of public money. Arts programs are disappearing quietly without a public vote. Special education funding isn't keeping pace with growing need. And families are making decisions about which schools their kids attend based on which board they think actually delivers.
Peterborough's students deserve a trustee who reads the budget carefully, asks hard questions in public, protects what works, and fights for what's missing. That's the job. I'm ready to do it.

The arts belong in every classroom.
Music, drama, visual arts, digital media, these aren't extras. They build the creative thinking, emotional intelligence, and self-expression that students carry their whole lives. When budgets tighten, arts programs disappear first. I'll make sure that stops.
You can't learn if you're not okay.
Mental health supports aren't a luxury, they're what makes everything else possible. I'll fight for adequate learning support staff, clear policies for vulnerable students, for the needs of all neurodivergent and special education students. Ensuring the board treats wellbeing as foundational.
A $552M budget deserves public scrutiny.
Declining enrolment means harder trade-offs ahead. You deserve a trustee who asks hard questions in public, protects classrooms before administration, and tells you what's being decided on your children's behalf.
